Sony DVP-CX995V 400-disc DVD Jukebox: It's alive!

Comments

You scare me.

780p? I thought they were 480p...or is it my DVD player that can't output the 780? This A/V shit is so confusing.

I knew there were bigger A/V geeks out there. Jason, you are correct, current DVDs are a maximum native 480p via analog connections, but using a digital connection like HDMI can upconvert the signal to digital televisions. And it's not 780, it's 720. But I got the name correct, it is, in fact, Sony.

I've edited the poorly written and previously incorrect parenthetical paragraph accordingly.

I think that would be a dangerous toy for me, I've got weird attachments to teeny parts of films, so I'd constantly be shuffling through them looking to relive my favorite moments in cinema over and aover again until my attention span was so blown to sh*t I couldn't watch a feature length film any longer.

Lance, I have the same DVD player and thought it was not working properly since the folder shows more "?" than titles. I want to type in the titles but have no idea how.

Can you help?

Thanks - B
