What my iPod Shuffle thinks I want to listen to on a CalTrain ride to and from Redwood City

Comments

1.) One can never have too much Madonna. (at least anything before Ray of Light, anyway)

2.) Well, after losing their drummer, they kind of took the Led Zeppelin route and disbanded, didn't they? It would be nice to see Corgan get in the studio, but I'm still waiting for that new G'n'R album Axl Rose promised about a decade ago.

3.) While I've never seen Bowie Live, I'm told it's something everyone should do once. Nothing wrong there.

4.) Make sure you have them sign for it first. You want to make sure you get your Shuffle back, you know.

5.) To quote Seinfeld, "Not that there's anything wrong with that."

6.) Your Shuffle's saying "You like this music." or "You haven't listened to it enough." It's just trying to be supportive.

7.) That's only because they haven't had a blowout album like "Rush of Blood to the Head". Don't get me wrong, I've gone from Parachutes to "X&Y", but every song on Rush was worth listening to. I can't really say that about X&Y. That, and you've got bands like The Fray and Snow Patrol sneaking in on that kind of sound. Coldplay needs something new, fast. :)

8.) That's so John Hughes. :)

9.) Steven Tyler (of Aerosmith) once said that he hated videos because he liked listeners to come up with their own visions in their head. That's easy to do on long trips.

Here's hoping your trip went well and that you've another good shuffle to go with it.
